How to make remittance?

For destinations within India and Nepal, remittances must be in Indian Rupees in the form of Money Order/Indian Postal Order/Bank Drafts payable at Prasanthi Nilayam.

For Overseas destinations, remittances must originate from overseas through any authorized banking channel in convertible currency. International Money Orders, British Postal Orders are also acceptable. (Examples: USD draft payable at New York, USA, Sterling Pound Cheque payable at London, UK; Indian Rupees draft payable in India preferably at Prasanthi Nilayam). Foreign Currency Notes are NOT acceptable. Sending remittance in currency by post is a Postal Offense and is punishable under Indian Postal Code.

INLAND / OVERSEAS BOOK ORDERS

Books are despatched by Regd. Book Post only subject to availability. Indents and remittances within India should be received by Money Order/Indian Postal Order/Account Payee Cheques/Bank Drafts.

REMITTANCES
Remittances from Overseas towards Book Orders / Sanathana Sarathi Subscriptions (English & Telugu) can be sent by A/C payee Bank Cheque / Demand Draft / International Money Order in FOREIGN CURRENCY ONLY AND NOT IN INDIAN RUPEES. Sending Cash Currency is liable to be confiscated by Government.

All remittances should be in favour of THE CONVENER, SRI SATHYA SAI BOOKS AND PUBLICATIONS TRUST, PRASANTHI NILAYAM, ANANTAPUR DISTRICT, ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA, PIN CODE - 515 134, payable at State Bank of India, Prasanthi Nilayam (Branch Code No. 2786) mentioning full address in capitals with Area Pin Code, Zip Code No., where the books are to be despatched.

N.B. Maximum weight allowed per packet is 5 kgs. Weight of packing materials per packet to be added to the weight of books – Overseas – 300 gms.

Inland up to 2 kgs – 100 gms. Above 2 kgs and up to 5 kgs – 300 gms.
