For the past couple of years the state of Tamil Nadu has been specially privileged to stage thematic dance drama presentations in His Divine presence, responding to His special call, during the occasion of Guru Purnima. Continuing with this ‘tradition’ the Balvikas Children and Sai Youth from the state staged a dance drama entitled Sai Yugam Prema Yugam on the evening of 23rd July in the immediate Divine presence.

Sai Yugam Prema Yugam was a thesis on the present day Mission of the Avatar of the Age, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, presented in an innovative style. The drama takes one back into the times of Lord Krishna to project into future to witness the Avataric Mission in kaliyuga as envisioned by the Lord Himself.

The presentation goes back into the times of Sage Narada and Vyasa who were eager to know from The Lord as to how He would be engaged in His mission in future, in kali yuga. Lord Krishna in turn assures both of them that kali   yuga is going to witness the complete manifestation of His Divine Love. The drama unfolds through a flashback into the times yore, of epics, bringing in right incidents from the past to compare with what would be His mission in future.  Illustrations drawn from previous yugas helps substantiating the fact that Bhagawan, with His divine love, would continue to work for humanity, in a macro level, uplifting them to sublime heights of divinity.

The flashback begins with Lord Brahma…Lord Brahma, after creating four progenitors, who were later christened as Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanātana, and Sanat Kumāra, gives them a tour comprising of comparative study of their present, explaining in detail corresponding mission that would happen in the times of the Avataric mission in Kali Yuga.

The four balarishis were sent to Lord Mahavishnu, who blessed them to be His chosen instruments in spreading His Love.  Lord Brahma, drawing a comparison here, gets into the would be time of Sathya Sai, showing His thousands of students as His chosen instruments, who would be engaged in the task of spreading His Love.

Next illustration comes in the form of Sage Kapila, a partial incarnation, who bestowed peace upon His mother Devahooti, who was in deep distress, suffering from attachment. He taught her the Samkhya philosophy which emphasized on the discrimination between body and soul. Lord Brahma’s comparison comes in the form of Sathya Sai’s epoch-making Educare Movement that would help one to see what is within.

Illustration three takes one to the life of Prahlada. Lord Vishnu had to incarnate as Lord Narasimha to help save little Prahlada. In the times of Sathya Sai, it would not be parents, but the Lord Himself who would be the real protector, says Lord Brahma educating the four Kumaras. The Lord would descend Himself in majesty and glory, would promote a massive Balavikas Movement to ensure moral, and spiritual growth of the children.

The final illustration comes from the life of egoistic King Karthyaveerarjuna. The King was unable to see the magnificence of the Lord in all forms of lives, was humbled by Lord Dattatreya. Lord Dattatreya commanded the King to serve the poor and the needy and the King was blessed with thousand hands. Bhagawan, through His projects, be it in the field of educare, medicare or sociocare, would be guiding millions of Karthyaveerarjunas in His times, says Lord Brahma’s project thesis.

Upon witnessing the episodes, the two sages understood the magnificence of the Lord in kaliyuga who would set His actions on a macro scale, continuing from the micro scale actions set in the previous age. This Lord would not use conventional weapons to destroy evil. Instead, would transform mankind with the potent weapon of His Divine Love. Lord Krishna Himself declares that He would be coming again as Lord Sri Sathya Sai. Seeing the magnificence of the ‘would be’ Avatar, they burst into a final song, joyfully proclaiming, Sai Yugam Prema Yugam.

The presentation was interspersed with meaningful ‘padyams’, melodiously sung, serving as pointers in Lord Brahma’s comparative thesis. Slide shows and audio clips from Bhagawan’s Divine Discourse also served the presentation to emphasize in bold capitals the mighty task taken upon by Bhagawan. Presentations also spoke about the physical characteristics of the Avatar of the Age, a pointer towards the physical frame.

Moving down the stage Bhagawan posed for group photographs. While the Narada cast was blessed with an emerald ring, Bhagawan moved around in the rows to bless everyone with close physical proximity.

Yes, it was His love that conquered those hearts and souls which travelled from Chennai to Prasanthi Nilayam to present a ‘thesis’ on His Love!!!
