Passing through the thickest moments of trials in the scripts of Avataric lives of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, where the Avatars opted to stay away in exile from Ayodhya and Dwaraka, fourteen years in the forest in Treta followed by Lord Krishna's Kurukshetra battle stint, the poet takes us to the present day plight in the Avataric Life of our Beloved Bhagawan, while taking us through the Samadhi episode of Bhagawan Shirdi, to get set to prepare welcoming our Beloved back to the precincts of Prasanthi. Read on yet another beautiful poem from the pen of Ms. Jullie Chaudhary.

Eashwaramma Nandan,
Sai Mukundan,
Parthipuri Bhagawan,
Janam janam sey pujaa Tujhko,
Ashk sey pujaa Charan Kamal ko,
Parthipuri Bhagawan,
Hrudayanivasi Sai Ram….

To reinstate Sathya and Dharma,
Lord Narayana,
Did His Incarnations compile,
For these, let us peep into the Avataric file,
Just before His coronation ‘young’ Rama had to face a trail,
According to which He went into exile,
No one could stop Him, His mind ever firm, never fragile,
Ayodhya wept all the while,
But His father’s word of honour no one should defile,
As Kekeyi was unbending, succumbing to Manthara’s guile…

From gloom and devastation,
Fate did the residents of Ayodhya spare,
His homecoming did save all from despair,
To receive Sri Rama when He did return, were we there?
Frolic, rejoice, dance and serenade – did we do our share?
Myriad lifetimes ago were we really there?
Into the subconscious though we stare and glare,
Oh, can we recall the glory of those days gone by?
Through sacred epics to relive those moments we can only try…

This was Treta,
And Ram Avatara,
Then came Dwapara,
And Sri Krishna Avatara,
Hold your breath, my dears, till we reach Kali Yuga,
And the times of Sai Avatara…

So came Sri Krishna for Shanti and Prema,
Rejoiced Gokul and Brindavana,
Till He left for Mathura,
Fulfilling the mission, Krishna’s glory none could bar…
Though, eventually He did reside in Dwarka,
For so long He did leave it for the battle at Kurukshetra…
When given a choice, in lieu of Krishna,
His army was opted for by Duryodhana,
But the Pandavas’ first and last choice was only Sri Krishna…

The inhabitants of Dwarka did watch and wait,
All eyes were glued to the city gate,
From gloom and devastation fate,
The residents of Dwarka did spare,
His homecoming saved all from despair,
To receive Sri Krishna when He did return were we there?
Frolic, rejoice, dance and serenade – did we do our share?
Myriad lifetimes ago were we really there?
Into the subconscious though we stare and glare,
Oh, can we recall the glory of those days gone by?
Through sacred epics to relive those moments we can only try…

Then according to the triple incarnation,
First to arrive was the Sai of Shirdi,
Thrown wide open were His doors for all beings you see,
To enter Dwarkamai all were free,
Along with human beings, animals and birds too,
Even the mineral world got its due,
For He sat on that stone rendering it ever so holy,
Till this day it is worshipped by all, by you and me…
But Baba of Shirdi too, took upon Himself a mini Samadhi,
For seventy two hours He was unreachable you see,
Motionless and not breathing too,
Of panic, fear and agitation Shirdi did face its due,
Yet Mhalsapati did stay by Baba’s side,
Letting no one close following His orders completely,
From rumors, discussions,
Factions and fractions can one be free?
Simple rustic bhaktas sang soulfully,
 ‘Ankhen sukhi munn rota hai,
Baba hamara kyon sota hai,
Khol ke aankhen dekhlo Baba,
Terey bina yahan kya hota hai,
Laut ke aaja Sai hamara,
Apni ankhen kholo,
Sai Baba bolo, Sai Baba bolo…
Tu to rehmat khuda ki Sai,
Tu to mohabbat Khuda ki Sai,
Tu to kudrat Khuda ki Sai,
Tu to surat Kudaa ki Sai,
Tum bin jeevan zehr hai Sai,
Apni aakhen kholo,
Sai Baba bolo…’

Beloved Sai - to open His lotus eyes they did entreat,
They implored Him with every heart beat,
Their eyes were anxious though dry,
Their hearts and minds did with grief call out and cry,
Sai – Who was the grace of the Lord,
Who was the love of God,
Who was of the nature of God,
Who was the face of God,
Who was no different from God,
Without Whom life was like poison verily,
Thus they did try to awaken Him from His Samadhi…

The inhabitants of Shirdi did watch and wait,
For Sai, His glory to reinstate,
From gloom and devastation fate did the residents Shirdi spare,
His homecoming did save all from despair,
To receive Baba when He did return were we there?
Frolic, rejoice, dance and serenade – did we do our share?
Myriad lifetimes ago were we really there?
Into the subconscious though we stare and glare,
Oh, can we recall the glory of those days gone by?
Through sacred epics to relive those moments we can only try…

As time goes by,
Fortune smiles,
And we are in the wondrous times of Sri Sathya Sai,
Whatever slumbering, doubting humanity may say or decry,
Words that flew in the past incarnations, continue to fly,
Nothing can stop His Sankalpa - His will, none can deny,
He decided upon this exile as did Sri Rama,
Puttaparthi has to wait its time in this divine drama,
To save the brothers Pandava,
Himself did march forth Keshava,
In Kaliyug especially we are facing the grind,
The Lord is transforming and instilling,
For Kauravas are our own mind,
The entire globe has turned into Kurukshetra, is what we find,
Or is Manthara - the senses, discoloring Kekeyi – the mind?
All pure intentions are then redefined,
From Nuclear Weapons to Tsunamis,
We expect Him to keep things at bay,
Our own negligence, nonchalance,
Indifference, overindulgence does us flay…
And so Prashanti Nilayam and Creation,
The Cosmos over with every heart beat,
Await patiently for the touch of the Lord’s feet…

The triple Incarnation of Sai is for the sake of humanity,
To transform and save us all,
Is His divine mission and duty,
During the day,
Many can reject the existence of the moon and stars,
But they shine at night in spite of derision that often jars,
When its dark, they are there to light up the way,
None can prevent, impede or ignore the divine play,
So He chooses to do,
What He must and has to,
For the benefit of humanity His limitless grace does continue,
Ways of Mother Sai are fathomless,
Beyond comprehension is what we find,
When one does not know their own mind,
To know the Lord’s psyche why even try,
With His words let us comply,
All of creation makes up the form of the Lord,
When we live in peace, love and harmony,
It reflects on God,
This time we are there to witness His glory,
Not depending on epics for His story,
Every atom waits to celebrate,
The return from Exile, from Kurukshetra, from this mini Samadhi,
SSSIHMS is Dandakaranya, Kurukshtera and Shirdi – Dwarkamai,
All longingly look forward to the return of Mother Sai…

Your mother loves you, how would you know?
Through her gentle caring ways, isn’t it so?
Your father loves you, how would you realize?
Because to protect and guide in many ways he tries,
And so, how would you know God loves you?
When He fills your heart with love,
And compassion ever new,
But how would God know, you do Him love?
When you share His love and compassion,
With all beings never saying enough…
As He has been doing the ages through,
Love, love, love, pure, boundless and true,
Whatever the situation freely embracing all, me and you..

Oh, for the Lord’s return let us prepare too,
As we did in Ayodhya,
As we did in Dwarka,
As we did in Shirdi,
Let us do so in Prashanti,
The Lord cannot stay away from His bhaktas for long,
We are all part of His divine song,
The Mother will soon be with her children again,
With this return there is so much to gain,
Love, joy and peace will supreme reign,
With a plea in our eyes,
And a prayer in our heart -
That we want none other,
Let us unite and call the Mother,
On the Cosmic canvas this is the plan He drew,
Of unity and brotherhood that embraces all of creation through,
Let us fit in, comply and do our utmost too,
Together let us beam out,
Echo and resound broaden our view,
Samastha Lokaah Sukhino Bhavantu…
